2014 WALK Update
God shined upon us once more. - It was a beautiful brisk autumn CROP Walk. Our new starting point, Hasbrouck Park, turned out to be a very festive place to start. Many people (and dogs) enjoyed the open grassy space and ST. JOSEPH'S CHURCH provided bubble blowing for the kids. Changepoint Church musicians (Jessica Spradling and Friends) offering music at CROP registration hour. Approximately 100 Walkers participated in the 2014 New Paltz CROP Walk. Pastor Tobias Anderson of Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church lead song; "Let There Be Peace On Earth" and then sent Walkers on their way with an inspiring prayer. Walkers received FREE T-Shirt; courtesy of the generous donation by CJ Heating and Air Conditioning. Total collected thus far is over $$10,000.00 through online donations, sponsored walkers, and a silent auction items; courtesy of: the Gunk House, Shapers, College Diner, Stop-n-Shop and Russo's Deli.
I want to thank all walkers, sponsors, registration volunteers and donors who helped make Our 41st Year a successful CROP Hunger Walk.
