New Paltz Student Christian Center - the SCC is an ecumenical campus ministry at SUNY New Paltz serving the spiritual needs of students, faculty and staff. The SCC is supported by five church denominations:  Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, Reformed and United Church of Christ. We invite everyone to share in our campus ministry. Activities include: "Sundays at 5" (Supper and Bible Study), Wednesday evening Communion, Retreats, Habitat for Humanity house-building, Skip-A-Dinner hunger event, Mohonk hike, Faculty/Staff lunch discussions, Interfaith activities, Midnight Run for the Homeless, Operation Christmas Child, Community CROP Walk and outreach to international students. The SCC is an inclusive campus ministry welcoming all.
   

 

Wallkill Valley Rail Trail System - The Wallkill Valley Rail Trail is a fifteen mile rail trail that runs along the former Wallkill Valley Railroad rail corridor in Ulster County, New York. The trail opened in 1991 and serves hikers, joggers, bikers, horseback riders, and cross country skiers.
